Whether you are living with childhood-onset heart disease, a parent or caregiver, a family member, or a healthcare professional, your mental well-being is our top priority. We are committed to ensuring that you have easy access to the care and support you need to navigate the emotional and psychological challenges that can arise from dealing with heart disease. Your health, both physical and mental, matters to us.
In the emails you receive from our care manager team, we will share whether you will use our telehealth platform or your therapist’s. We understand that navigating these options can be a bit overwhelming. If you’re using Ollie’s Branch Telehealth Platform, please find some supportive resources below to help guide you. We’re here for you every step of the way.
Our main goal is to find a therapist who speaks your requested language. If we cannot find one, we will identify an existing Ollie’s Branch therapist who could be a good fit in other ways and use our interpretation service so that we can meet your needs effectively. While CyraCom, our interpretation service, cannot guarantee the same interpreter for each session, they will do their best. We recommend that the therapist discuss this option when planning future sessions. Your cooperation in this process is greatly appreciated as we strive to provide the best support for our clients.
As part of Ollie’s Branch funding, we ask all clients to complete pre- and post-clinical assessments at the beginning and end of their care. We understand that this may feel like an additional step in your journey, but these assessments are important as they help us determine our funding and ensure we can continue providing the support you need. The clinical assessment surveys include the following:
– For adult clients: Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) and General Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7).
– For minor clients: Strengths & Difficulty Questionnaire (SDQ).
